CoilMac-ECI+ is built to effortlessly manage high capacity work and can punch up to 20 sheets of 20 lbs paper in one manual punch. It features an extended punching length of 13”, which can be easily used to punch documents as much as double its length: 26”. This remarkable ability is made possible through its open ended design that does not bound paper from both sides. For accuracy during this process, a continuous punching guide is in place.
The punching die included in Akiles CoilMac-ECI+ electric coil binding equipment also boasts some highly exclusive qualities. To start with, it punches unique, 4x5mm oval-shaped holes that have been proven to be much easier to deal with. This, combined with its 4:1 letter pitch, improves binding and coil insertion times drastically and is a life-saver for professional people. Furthermore, the die set has fully disengageable pins. Each of its 54 pins can be individually disengaged conveniently to punch any paper size that users want.
CoilMac-ECI+ makes sure that every piece of coil-bound document that is produced with it is nothing less than perfect and aesthetically pleasing. Hence, it comes integrated with the very handy side margin and punching margin controls. They help users in aligning the paper sides properly with the die and selecting the best-suited punch-margin-depth respectively. Moreover, a coil size selection guide is also part of the package.
Akiles manual punch & electric coil binding machine also has an electric coil inserter. This element, run by a double roller mechanism and foot pedal-operated, efficiently inserts coils inside in punched documents with remarkable speeds. It is accompanied with a quality coil-crimping tool as well.
