Xyron Pro XM2500 QuickStart. Step 1, load your roll sets. Facing the back of the machine. Remove the top cover and open the bottom door. Review the roll set, each roll will indicate whether it is a top or bottom. Using the guide channels and color coding insert the rolls into the machine accordingly. Step 2, prep bottom roll. Note when installing film, ensure that the rubber rollers are not exposed to the adhesive side of the laminate. On the bottom roll grasp the starter section by the leading edge, wrap the lead over the lower idler bar adjacent to the lower roller. Insert the film squarely between the two rollers using the crank handle. Advance approximately half of the starter section through the rollers. If necessary manually rotate the roll and reverse to ensure the film is tight. Step 3, engage the top roll as with the bottom roll. Grasp the starter section film from the upper roll by the leading edge. Grab the lead over the upper idler bar and adhere to the exposed adhesive on the bottom roll. For the best results adhere the top film one inch below the idler bar. By carefully aligning the edges and keeping the film tight waste will be minimized.
Step 4, advance material. Verify that the film will exit under the cutter bar assembly and use the crank handle to advance film through the machine until it is free from wrinkles material. Amount will vary depending on the loading accuracy but expect to run approximately three to four feet through the system. Trim off excess film by using the included cutter by sliding it in either direction. Step 5, replace the feed tray. Insert the tray pins into the machines channels, slide forward until setting is completely in place. Step 6, Operation. Lift the paddle off of the feed tray to allow room for the substrate. Insert the substrate underneath the paddle moving it back and forth until the front edge is covering no more than one and one-half inch of the material. Align substrate with the guide lines on the tray and smoothly secure it to the material by applying light pressure to the top surface. Lower the paddle onto the substrate. Use the crank handle to advance the substrate through the machine. Contact your local dealer or visit Xyron.com for more information
